The hand-numbered Ballerina is a gorgeous art piece. Large enough to be the nicest art piece in the room and yet still just the right size for the desk top.

KB Collection Ballerina
Is it time for a really nice sandpicture from Klaus Bosch? The hand-numbered Ballerina is a gorgeous art piece. Large enough to be the nicest art piece in the room and yet still just the right size for the desk top. Just be warned – you might not get much else done other than watching the Ballerina delicately create amazing mountains, valleys and dunes. The Ballerina is indeed extraordinary.
The Ballerina is a smooth black wood with poles that swivel the sandpicture easily. Prominent sand colors are brown, orange and gold. The gold / orange colors against the brown sands are mesmerizing. Dimensions are 20 x 13 x 3-3/4”. The Ballerina is part of our Master Piece series.
The Ballerina is hand-numbered by Klaus himself. It also comes with a certificate showing the year it was made to enhance the collectability of this piece.
Klaus Bosch’s KB Collection (formerly Rainbow Vision Sand Pictures) are interactive, ever-changing, mesmerizing and versatile art pieces. Put them on your desk and watch them evolve with a new creation with each turn. Put our movies on the wall and enjoy the added dimension of the image to enhance the performance of the sand.
Klaus makes the KB Collection Sand Pictures in his studio in Lustenau, Austria. Each piece is handcrafted with love and attention to detail. Turn the sandpicture over to watch the battle of the elements: The sand just wants to settle at the bottom, the air just wants to escape to the top, the water hosts the party. The result is the sand trickles between the air bubbles to create fascinating stratifications in the sand mountains.
A slower flow of sand will result in a delicate trickle of sand making more dramatic peaks and valleys. A faster flow of sand will make dune shapes. Best of all is you can control the amount of air in each sand picture so you can make the sand fall as fast or as slow as you want with the injector we include in the art.
